Better Cotton
IKEA sub-supplier
since 1994
member of the Union of Textile Industry Entrepreneurs
Primtex LLC was founded in 1994 and is today a leading supplier of cotton fibre from Central Asia and Azerbaijan, used primarily by cotton-spinning mills in the Russian Federation.
The company also ships cotton to export markets and, as a Better Cotton project participant, is registered as a sub-supplier to the global IKEA retail network (home textiles sold by that network are made from fibre supplied, among others, by us).
Primtex works in close coordination with colleagues across the textile industry. Company management takes part in addressing industry issues at business meetings in the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the RSPP, and the State Duma. It is actively involved in intergovernmental commissions with Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, representing the interests of Russian textile enterprises. In addition to supplying domestic mills with cotton fibre, the company also delivers cotton yarn and greige (undyed) fabrics from CIS countries.
Since 1 February 2018 Primtex LLC has been a member of the Union of Textile and Light Industry Entrepreneurs.
Over the years we have built extensive experience in the textile industry and long-standing relationships with many major companies. As a result of this cooperation we have received a number of letters of thanks from regular partners, including Paul Reinhart AG (Switzerland) — a globally known company with more than 230 years of history.
