Cotton yarn
For many years Primtex LLC has regularly imported made-to-order cotton yarn produced in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan for processing at Russian weaving mills.
We can arrange delivery of cotton yarn to your order, linear density from 15 tex to 84 tex, weaving/knitting, open-end/ring-spun, carded/combed, first grade, class A.
Yarn quality according to OST 17-362-85. Linear-density deviation does not exceed +2.0% / −2.5% of the nominal value.
Clothing wadding and spinning waste
Among other made-to-order textile products offered by our company are clothing wadding and spinning waste. The clothing wadding we supply meets Prima grade, meaning trash content below 5%. It is carded wadding made of cotton fibres of grades 2–3–4, class B cotton linters, uluk or regenerated fibre, and spinning waste. The wadding is pressed into cotton-style bales (with metal straps and wrapped in nonwoven fabric) weighing 180–210 kg each.
Wadding quality is agreed together with the price upon presentation of a product sample. Main parameters follow O`zDSt 1029:2003. Origin of Prima wadding is the Republic of Uzbekistan. The spinning waste offered is typically willow motes (standard 3), card motes (standard 7), card strips (standard 11), or a cleaned blend of these. Quality is assessed according to OST 17-88-86.
Spinning waste is not only an excellent feedstock for nonwoven production, but also a raw material for cotton spinning that can reduce the cost of finished goods when producing coarse-count yarn (added to the blend at 5–15%).
